Cymbal stands
A common mistake - Here we have a Yamaha boom stand on a Pearl bottom which can be a quick substitute and workable but can often cause issues. The slight changes in sizes often means the user over-tightens and breaks the fastener. But just to add to this we have a M8 x 12 bolt from another manufacturer. This wing bolt is to long, the inner stand will be loose and the user will attempt to tighten the wing nut. This will remove the threads. This could quickly be avoided. New this Yamaha boom cymbal stand is around £102 the Pearl is about £73. Can you afford to constantly replace these items? If the threads are gone I could repair this for less than £5, and placing it onto the right top and bottom will avoid it happening again.
